Guajiru, is under 2 hours from Fortaleza International airport in North East Brazil.
This region is rated among the best investment opportunities in Brazil, which in turn is one of the top four emerging countries, and strongest economies in the world today, as a little research into the world investment market will confirm. The other three are Russia, India & China, making the choice of destination to Brazil a very easy one, in our opinion. We have a large selection of assorted size, shape and positioned building plots and existing properties, which are situated starting within 100 metres from the amazing beaches here
Guajiru is a sleepy fishing village inhabited by the descendants of several Brazilian families over the past few decades and has only been connected by road and electricity for the last ten years, so is still in it’s infancy regarding development. It is now becoming a haven for visitors from the 3 million plus, inhabitants of Fortaleza as well as investors from Brazil, Portugal, India, Hungary, Spain, France, Poland, Switzerland, Holland, New Zealand and UK in recent years.
The 9-10 months of sunshine every year, just 3 degrees from the equator, playing over the palm fringed, white sandy beaches, dotted with the colourful local fishing craft, and the low tide shallow,warm sea-water pools provide a near perfect setting, without the usual beach peddlers invading your peace. Kite surfing is very popular here now and this is among the best locations in the world.
You may have to make way for the local football teams practicing on the beach, but that’s usually around 5-6 pm, and you can probably join in if you wish, with Boys, Girls, Ladies and Men’s teams. Alternatively at this time of day, take a stroll in the huge amazing area of natural sand dunes behind the village, or along the miles of empty beach, where you can watch some of the most amazing sunsets you will ever see, where, by evening, this area deservedly earns the name of ‘Sunset coast’, set in Ceara, the ‘County of Light’ by day.
There are now local restaurants and bars of all descriptions adding to the ambience of the village and also one or two ‘Churascos’ (BBQ’s) or Pizzarias where £15 will give you enough food and beer for four people, and you can mix with the friendly locals trying your hand (or tongue) at the local version of the Portuguese language.
Also a few local ‘Pousadas’ (B&B’s) or the English owned and run hotel. (link here);
